We need to transform learning and teaching so that we can allow learners to develop these creative innovative skills ALONGSIDE critical-thinking skills for truly whole-brain development. By nurturing and developing both sets of skills we can build and develop learners into world-class innovators and thinkers for the 21st Century.
- Roughly 98% of the skills a 4 year old uses to come up with a solution to a problem are innovation-thinking skills.
- By age 10, it is less than half of that.
- By adulthood, almost all our natural innovation skills have been buried.
