Jeanine Esposito – Founder, Innovation Expert
Jeanine Esposito is an innovation leader & collaborator and a speaker and teacher of Collaborative Innovation and Design Thinking. Her innovation experience spans Business, Learning Organizations and Cultural Institutions.
After an early career with Unilever spanning IT, Marketing, Sales & Insights, she joined a group of former McKinsey partners in Corporate Strategy Consulting. In 1999 she founded spark!Consulting to drive innovation for Fortune 500 companies, developing a leading edge Collaborative Innovation Thinking process combining best practices from innovation, human-centered research and strategy. Her work with clients led to many successful new product innovations & services for global clients such as PepsiCo, Kimberly Clark, Hormel Foods, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna and others.
Jeanine started Innovation Builders to bring Collaborative Innovation Thinking to learning organizations to help close the gap in 21st Century Skills and to help students become true collaborative innovators. Having received a degree in Early Childhood Education, Jeanine has always had a passion for education. In her success as a business innovator, she saw early on that the Collaborative Innovation Process could be used to help students hold on to their natural Innovation-thinking abilities and acquire 21st Century skills. At Innovation Builders Jeanine helps clients learn the skills for Collaborative Innovation and collaborate with peers and outside stakeholders to re-think, rejuvenate and develop new programs that promote 21st Century Learning. She also helps organizations “Make Space” that inspires collaboration and innovation everyday. Her biggest passion, however, is developing Excitable Learning-Driven Capstone/mastery programs that allow learners to become true collaborative innovators using authentic, real-life issues that matter and taking innovation beyond prototyping to “making it real”.
